KEIKO OGAWA
Professor

Kampo medicine is a traditional Japanese medicine with a history of over 1,500 years.
Kampo medicine has been incorporated into the Universal Health Coverage since the mid-Showa period. This means that Japan has become an advanced country in traditional medicine, where both traditional and modern medicine can be used to treat patients.
In order to provide effective and safe Kampo treatment, our center will do our best to become a center of clinical practice, education and research.

I spent a long time working as a medical device engineer creating custom software for ultrasound image analysis based on ideas from doctors.
While investigating the various bodywork techniques that I acquired when I moved to the United States and the wonders of physical sensation, I decided to pursue a career in ultrasound-based fascia research.
I want to make the experiential and subjective human sensation something that everyone can understand objectively and visually.
